Joining Little Hippie in early 2015, Lizzy Layne’s hard work is the reason for Little Hippie’s updated branding and fresh new look. Without her efforts, Taylor never would have been able to create everything she did this year for Fare Thee Well.
In the process of developing new Grateful Dead art with Taylor this past spring, Lizzy created this original blotter art design to commemorate the Grateful Dead’s 50th anniversary.
A limited number of Lizzy’s 50th anniversary “Forever Grateful” blotter art prints are available for sale via Lizzy’s Paypal for $20 each plus $5 for shipping and handling.
A little hippie from the start, Lizzy’s love for art and music has taken her from her hometown of Detroit to her second love, San Francisco. An innovative artist who uses various media as a painter, illustrator, graphic designer and printmaker, Lizzy’s art melds techniques to spawn a visual experience that is whimsical, creative and unique. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a BA in Studio Arts and a minor in Spanish Language & Culture.
Lizzy met Taylor through a close group of West Coast friends that has formed over the years through a shared love of music. Becoming a part of Little Hippie and its mission has been a great way to express herself through her passions for art and music, especially the Grateful Dead and the entire hippie scene in general. Lizzy’s strong business background combines art, music and professionalism to help the Little Hippie brand soar to greater heights.
Together, Taylor and Lizzy are designing many new items for Fall 2015, and we’re excited to add her unique style to our next apparel collection. To receive updates and special offers as new products come in, please join our mailing list to make sure you don’t miss out!
